On a geometric background, representing angular streets as if from birds eye view, drives a car with eyes and a crown; its mouth is the head of the driver and it is being pulled forwards by a skeleton that runs mechanically. Another figure is attached to the front of the car, as if it replaced the headlight; it connects the car with a round shape in which we see a naked couple sleeping, wearing yellow masks. On the back of the car, another thin figure sits, holding a comb in one hand and a stick with two skulls in the other. Nada Tshibwabwa thematises the interwovenness of human lives with mechanics and machines; bodies at different stages, dead and alive, merge literally with the car, which itself is anthropomorphic. For the artist the social system and to some degree also the social security of individuals depends on machines, and the ownership of them is linked to a form of well-being.
