From a palm tree emerges a tap. A woman drinks greedily from it. The palm tree symbolizes the power of nature to provide humans with useful materials for many aspects of life: oil, medicine, nuts, wine, brooms, sleeping mats. The woman symbolically feeds on this abundance. On her right appears a red figure that seems to be in communication with anthropomorphic clouds at the top of the painting. Nada Tshibwabwa describes these as symbols of appearance – in every presence we can also find its opposite.
